Q: Which company manages the Dining Services?
A: Sodexo Campus Services. Sodexo is the leading provider of Food and Facilities management in North America and has provided Converse College with excellent services since the 1970's. Check out more about Sodexo at SodexoUSA.com.
Q: Are you able to accommodate my special dietary needs?
A: Absolutely. Sodexo Campus Services has a wide range of resources to accommodate special dietary needs. We also have access to a Registered Dietitian to assist students with meal planning and special dietary issues. Please stop by GeeDining Hall.
Q: What meal plans are offered at Converse?
A: All students that live in the Residence Halls are required to be on a meal plan. There are 3 meal plans to choose from. Our current plan options may be viewed on the Meal Plans page.
Q: What are Flex dollars?
A: These funds may be used to make purchases at Sneakers. Flex Dollarscan also be used to purchase meals for family & friends at Gee Dining Hall. All of the meal plans and flex dollars are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
Q: When is the Dining Hall open?
A: The dining hall is open seven days a week during the academic year. Check out the Locations & Menus page to view our current hours of operation.
Q: Can I change my meal plan and if so, where do I go?
A: You can change your plan during the first week of classes. The changes can be made at the Dining Services Office located in Gee.
Q: What is a block plan?
A: We offer a “block plan” as well as the “traditional meals per week” in order to provide maximum flexibility. The plan provides a block of meals to be allocated by the student over the course of the semester. The number of meals consumed each week (or day) is at the discretion of the student.
